Phi Phi for New Year.....

So we arrived in Phi Phi which we were told was a backpackers haven and it definately was! I did write a nice long bit of text about this stay but these blog things aren't as easy as they look and I managed to delete it all and there is no 'undo' button! We are currently sat waiting for an 11.17pm night train to bangkok which gets in at 10am tomorrow and we've left our last hotel at 2.30pm, so apologies for the lack of text in this update but I can't be bothered to type it all again :)

Here's the beach.....

When the tide goes out it goes out for about 200 metres.....

and leaves a field of crabs, coral and god know what else, how many crabs can you spot??

Keeping Daniel amused on the beach can be difficult, especially when he breaks his bat after one hit!!

and he gets extremely grumpy when he loses at cards!!

Made a few friends Tom and John.....

We spent NYE Day and NYE with these guys here's a few pic's

Keeping Dan amused in the evening was a problem too......until we found some face paints for him to play with....

made some more friends lucky for them Dan had used all the paint up on his face....

On the beach for midnight fireworks going off everywhere - AMAZING!!

2010 and almost time to go home for Dan!!
