Wellington....reunions & the 7's

So we made it safely to Wellington ready to be reunited with Dan's Sister and boyfriend Andy who live out here and Dan's folks who were arriving the following day for a holiday.

Here I am having a coffee break on Andy's famous Wellington tour before we went to pick Krissy up from work.

Here's Dan and his Sister Krissy reunited after over a year apart :)

Krissy knows her brother very well so had stocked up both the fridges (yes they have 2!) and cupboards....

Then is was back to the airport to collect John & Eileen (K & D's folks) here's Krissy waiting nervously it seemed to take ages for them to come off the plane....

Out for a meal to celebrate....

Time to plan our outfits for the Rugby 7's....this one wasn't quite big enough!!!

(How he thought he could fit into a child's spider man suit I do not know!?)

Luckily this hat fitted perfectly!! Oh and I got wings :)

As some of you probably know the Rugby 7's in Wellington is a massive event held over 2 days where everyone dresses up and as well as going to watch the rugby they drink down by the harbour....

Should have gone to Spec Savers!

Loved these guys...

We didn't have tickets for the stadium but we did watch some of the rugby on tv although it seemed to be more about drinking and fancy dress, put it this way you didn't have to fight to get a seat near a screen!

Buckets of beer felt like we were back in Thailand!

Day 2.....we loved Dan's hat so much we all went out and bought them for the next day....
